I am from Lagos, working in a hospital with 18 years of experience, holding the highest category. I have faced injustice at work and reported it to the Ministry of Health. Instead of receiving support, I have been subjected to repression, discrimination, and persecution. Despite appealing to supervisory authorities, I have only received dismissive responses. Since February 2020, my salary has been 13,700 naira, and all additional payments have been withdrawn. I approached the Labour Inspectorate and requested documents, discovering that my labor contract was forged. Forensic analysis confirmed the forgery, but no offence was acknowledged. I have been living in debt, owing many people, borrowing from some to pay others.

I have two children, and my eldest daughter is studying to be a doctor. We have even had to skip meals because we can’t afford them. We also have to pay lawyers daily to take this matter to court. On the 7th of May, my daughter will turn 18, and she wants to renovate her room.

Family of 5 people. Budget is tight. Our 15-year-old car finally broke down. We need to drive the children to school, daycare, and extracurricular activities. We took out a loan for a car, but ended up being misled by the dealership. The monthly payment of 22,000 Naira is unaffordable for us as budget-constrained teachers. We are now faced with a difficult choice: return the car or figure out how to transport our children, including our foster child, on time. We’ve filed complaints about the loan and the added services at the bank, but no one is willing to help. Everything was set up so cleverly. Please assist us if you can!

Hello. I have just found out that I am pregnant, and I am overwhelmed with worry. My husband has a large loan of 400,000 naira, and he recently faced a job cut. While searching for another job, we accumulated more debts and have significant delays in repayments. We have found ourselves trapped in financial trouble, and I don’t know how to get out of it.

In 2012, my husband was in a road accident, which left him with a disability and a pension of 7,950 naira. I had a small business, a kiosk at the market, which allowed me to support my family, including my husband and two children, a 14-year-old son and a 5-year-old daughter. However, due to the ongoing crisis, my income has dropped to zero, and I had to close the business. Finding a job with a suitable schedule is difficult because I cannot leave my husband and children alone for extended periods. We need funds to change the direction of our business and return to the market to survive. I kindly ask anyone willing to help to please do so. Thank you. Access Bank 0730 1748 6294.

Please help!!! My teenage daughter, born in 2004, sent an application on 21.12.2020 to the State Department of the Investigative Committee of Abuja, regarding her 8 suicide attempts (she cut her wrists), caused by continuous emotional abuse from her relatives, resulting in three hospitalizations for severe depression, and the complete disruption of her education, life, and mental health. The appeal has been registered under – R50N29461 at the relevant email. On 28.12.2020, the appeal was transferred to another branch.

On 12.03.21, there was an investigation, and on 18.03.21, I submitted a written request for a psychiatric evaluation to prove that her grandparents were responsible for the relentless emotional abuse leading to her suicide attempts. In September 2017, I was physically assaulted by my parents, witnessed by my daughter. I reported the incident to the police and had medical evidence of my injuries, but authorities failed to take action. My daughter attempted suicide 8 times that same year. Despite complaints to the police, prosecutor’s office, and other authorities, our grievances have been ignored, with deliberate errors in their responses to us.

I am suffering from multiple health issues due to chronic stress and the constant threat against us, including a tumor, neuralgia, asthma, and kidney problems. We are vulnerable, facing neglect and abuse from law enforcement, and there are audio recordings of these violations of our rights under Nigerian law. My father, who owns the flat we live in, regularly visits and destroys our belongings in my absence. Friends assist us with essentials, but every time we leave, our belongings are ruined again. This has been ongoing since mid-2019. In November 2019, while trying to protect our belongings, I fell and fractured my spine, requiring surgery and months of recovery. In 2020 and 2021, my health worsened, and surgeries were necessary.

My income is minimal, and the constant stress exacerbates my health issues. I have nothing left. Last week, a church helped me with shoes for the summer. I desperately need funds for video surveillance and a router for our safety and cannot manage this alone. My daughter and I are being tormented. I am also a highly sensitive person. Please help us to survive.

As I’ve grown older, my vision has worsened. I work as a chief accountant in a government organization, but my salary is quite modest. I need glasses, but purchasing them would cost me half of my earnings.

It’s difficult to ask for help, but if anyone is able to assist me in any way, I would be truly grateful.

Hello! I’ve been seeking justice for two years. A wealthy individual with significant influence has negatively impacted my health and caused me to lose my job. Unfortunately, I cannot afford a good lawyer. I have a loan and have been making timely payments, but after two years, it has become challenging. Please assist me in paying off the loan and hiring a lawyer who can stand up to this powerful person. Help me defend my rights. Thank you!

Six months ago, I started my business, but I was very limited in funds as all my resources were invested in inventory, leaving no money for promotion or advertising. In an effort to improve the situation, I began searching for financial support and tried to secure a loan, but banks declined my applications. I ended up taking out micro-loans. Currently, there is no income from the business, and I have no other sources of income. I’ve been trying to boost sales through mailings and manual advertising, but the results have been minimal. The only income we have is a survivor’s pension for my youngest daughter. I am raising my two children on my own, with no grandparents or significant support from relatives. My hope lies in the development of the business, as I now have the necessary knowledge and an experienced mentor; I just need investment. I am seeking a person who can provide financial assistance with interest. I need 500,000 naira for six months under a receipt or loan agreement.
