Hello, I never thought I would find myself in a position to ask for help, but life can be unpredictable. I am a mother of three children and lived with my husband for 19 years, but the last 8 years were like a nightmare. My husband struggled with alcohol, which caused him to lose his job and become physically abusive. Meanwhile, I was supporting our children, who are all in school.
In December of last year, I made the difficult decision to leave him and rent an apartment. I had to take out a loan for my children’s clothes, household essentials, and other necessities. At that time, I was working part-time because the boarding house where I was employed was temporarily closed due to the pandemic. My earnings were decent, and I believed I could pay off my debts. However, since June, my work schedule returned to normal, earning around $28,000 annually, with additional side jobs on weekends bringing in about $10,000 more.
I know others face bigger challenges, but please understand that I am doing my best and could truly use a break on the weekends.
I am a single mother with two children. My youngest is not yet two years old and will start daycare in September, but until then I am unable to work. I receive only $978 in child benefits for both children. I have plans to purchase a home, so I’ve decided not to use any funds from my maternity benefits for now. We are in need of food and support. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I’ve been visually impaired since childhood, but I managed to secure a job at a company. Unfortunately, after it closed down, I lost my income and my unpaid wages are still pending.
Most of my pension goes towards rent, leaving me with very little to live on. With my vision impairment, finding another job is challenging.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Our House of Mercy, “Source of Life,” is located in Calgary, Canada. We provide support and care for individuals struggling with alcohol and drug addiction and those without a place to live. Our house operates on a self-supporting basis. We are in need of building materials for house repairs, as well as furniture—what we currently have can be considered very outdated. We also face challenges with clothing as we frequently visit areas where homeless individuals gather to offer them hot meals and warm clothing. We are grateful for any help we receive! Additionally, we welcome guests to our home for live interaction, where you can witness firsthand how love and care can transform lives for the better!
I am immensely grateful in advance to anyone who can help us settle our outstanding gas bill. My common-law partner recently lost his job, and despite his efforts, he has yet to find new employment.
With winter approaching, I’m extremely anxious about the possibility of disconnection, especially since we have two small children. We’ve paid off as much as we can, but there’s still an outstanding balance. I’m feeling desperate.
Hello! I apologize if this is a bit unclear, but I’m in a difficult situation and urgently need financial assistance. I am unable to obtain loans due to a poor credit history, and family support is not an option as we are dealing with a relative’s medical issues, which thankfully are improving. However, this has left me in a financial bind. A close cousin, who has been like family to me, owes me money and has unfortunately blocked my attempts to contact him.
I urgently need a sum of money, and I am willing to repay with interest within 3-4 weeks, once a current project is completed. I can provide a written agreement or any necessary assurance. Please, if you can help, it would be greatly appreciated. I am desperate and running out of options. Thank you for any support you can offer.
Hello, my name is Alex. I am a 23-year-old orphan. When I turned 18, I took out loans, and now I am burdened with significant debt. Although some people have even more debt than I do, I am struggling to make payments. I’m not asking or begging for help; I know there are many generous people in the country who could lend a hand. I understand that it was my own mistake to take out those loans, and I regret it now. Thank you in advance to anyone who is able to offer even a little assistance.
I am in urgent need of financial assistance. I am seeking a loan of 150,000 Canadian dollars. I do not intend to receive this without repayment. My situation is dire due to my daughter’s health issues. She was involved in a serious accident in 2014, and recently she developed pneumonia, which we suspect might have been COVID. Her hair fell out, and she lost her sense of taste and smell. After a vacation in November, she experienced shortness of breath and a persistent cough for two months. She had to resign from her job.
I was able to support her initially, but then my work situation worsened. I worked for a company where services were being cut, and out of 170 employees, only 53 remain. My salary has dropped significantly. My daughter’s mental health has deteriorated; she’s experiencing severe anxiety reminiscent of the post-accident period. The idea of consulting a psychiatrist worries me because I fear the treatment could be too harsh and affect her long-term well-being.
In desperation, I turned to brokers to help secure a loan, but I was scammed into taking microloans. Initially, they promised assistance within 10 days, but I was misled and ended up with an additional debt of 60,000. I now face a total debt of 58,000 and additional microloan obligations. My daughter urgently needs medical treatment, and my health is also deteriorating—I have high blood sugar levels but continue to work because I cannot leave her alone to face these problems.
I am seeking a loan of 150,000 CAD for 15 months, with a promise to repay 10,000 CAD monthly. I firmly believe resolving this financial crisis will help my daughter overcome her depression and allow her to return to work. Please, we have run out of options, and I’m desperately seeking help. I need to settle my debts in the next five days to prevent severe consequences. We are in dire need. Thank you for considering my plea.
Hello, dear friends. I am reaching out for assistance because I have no one else to turn to—I have no parents or close family. I find myself in a difficult situation, struggling like many others with a lack of resources. I am unsure how to ask for help, but I know some of you may understand how hard it is to get back on your feet without support. I humbly ask anyone who can assist or support me to do so. I am not asking for riches, just any small contribution you can offer. I am grateful for any kindness and will appreciate any amount you can spare. May you be blessed with good health and everything you wish for yourself. With respect and gratitude, Alexei. Please reach out if you can help.
I am 28 years old and recently went through a divorce that left me with significant financial burdens. I took out a loan to help my ex-partner with her apartment, under the impression she would repay it. Unfortunately, I am now solely responsible for the repayment. Due to changes at work, my salary has decreased, and it’s insufficient to cover the loan. I’ve had to resort to taking out multiple microloans, and I’m currently overwhelmed with over 20 different loans to repay. I am employed, but my current income doesn’t cover both the original loan and the additional debts. I’m at a loss for what to do next. If anyone is able to offer assistance, I would be incredibly grateful.
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, greetings to all! Please help me; I am unable to find employment due to a criminal record, though I am innocent and was wrongly accused. I was acquitted, but I want to reopen my case for review and prove my innocence. I have unjustly served fifteen years, and for this, I need financial assistance to hire a lawyer and pursue justice. If you are against such miscarriages of justice, I ask for your help in raising the necessary funds. Without your support, I cannot move forward. Sincerely, Sindbad.
Hello, I am writing from a remote Canadian village. I reach out to you with the hope that you can help me, or rather my granddaughter, Emily. My granddaughter lives with me as her father passed away 10 years ago. He worked as a senior officer in the police force. Emily’s mother works as a schoolteacher but lives in a nearby village. My granddaughter has dental issues. We went to the dental clinic and were told that she needs braces, but all these services must be paid for. Her mom and I can’t raise that kind of money, as dental services cost around 10,000 Canadian dollars. My pension and a teacher’s salary leave us with little to save. I’m not sure who we can turn to or where we can obtain such money. If we take a loan, it would be 15,000, but we would have to pay back about 30,000. We can’t afford that. Emily is graduating high school this year and plans to further her education. She wants to enter law school to work in the police force like her father. She excels academically and is aiming for high honors. Emily works hard, and we cannot support her as we’d like to. That is why I decided to write here, to ask for help.
Hello, my son and I live alone in a house we inherited. We are in need of funds to replace the roof, which will cost $20,000. With my current salary, it’s impossible to save this amount, and I haven’t been able to find a higher-paying job. The roof leaks during heavy rain, and I’m worried about the house deteriorating. We have no close relatives who can help. Thank you for your support.
Hello! I am reaching out in the hope of helping my friend’s mom visit a wellness retreat to support her health. She is 72 years old and has Parkinson’s disease. At her age, doctors cannot guarantee the success of surgery. I want to alleviate her condition as much as possible. A retreat offering specialized therapies could be beneficial.
I am reaching out to those who are willing to help. I write this message out of despair. I am a mother of three children, currently on maternity leave to care for my youngest. My husband left us and began to drink excessively and became abusive. My child is too young for daycare, which prevents me from going back to work, and I’ve fallen into debt due to microloans. Initially, I took out a loan while still with my husband, but after our separation, it became extremely challenging to manage. I then resorted to a microloan, which I deeply regret, and now I’m trapped in a cycle of debt. I am now receiving calls and messages from debt collectors with threats. I am sincerely asking for help, although I find it hard to believe help will come. Thank you in advance for any assistance. My card number is 4274-3200-7740-6950.
