I truly need your help. I’m not someone who typically seeks handouts, but I’m in a tough spot. I’m without a cent in my account, and with 3 children, my husband’s salary just isn’t enough to support our family. I’ve had to take a loan from a microfinance institution, hoping to repay it with money owed to me, but those payments haven’t come through. My calls go ignored, and I’m given false promises. I’m desperate, with no relatives or friends to turn to. No one else can help or lend me money. It’s particularly hard as my youngest daughter, who is 1.6 years old, requires feeding through a gastrostomy. We need to purchase special formulas and purees, which must be administered directly into her stomach using a syringe. I don’t know where else to turn; please, if you can help, reach out. We’ve only got enough provisions for the next day.

I am a student currently attending medical school and facing financial difficulties. I am struggling with paying for housing and basic necessities like food. Until I can secure a job and start receiving a salary, I am at risk of being evicted or going hungry. Unfortunately, my parents are unable to support me as we have been estranged for some time. I am in urgent need of assistance and would deeply appreciate any help that can be offered. Thank you for your kindness.
I have never made such a request before and have always tried to handle my problems on my own. However, recently I have been unable to manage. I owe a significant amount to microloan companies, and my salary has been reduced, making it difficult to cover even my utility bills and basic food expenses. My job is at risk, and I am uncertain how I will cope with this situation. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Card number 4751151123456789.
Hello! I am in urgent need of help right now. I am unsure where else to turn or what to do. I’ve never asked for help before; on the contrary, I’ve always helped others whenever I could. But now, in my moment of need, I find there is no one to help me. I had a small business that suffered greatly during the pandemic, leaving me in significant debt. I had to take a loan from a financial service on the security of our only home with my daughter. The banks refused me a loan because of a poor credit history stemming from a difficult divorce five years ago. I was left on the street with a child and couldn’t pay my credit card loan. Since then, I’ve tried to rebuild my life and improve my credit history. I even entered a Credit Doctor program and took a loan from a financial service, hoping for the best. Now, due to rising costs and other economic pressures, I find myself without work again. I’m facing massive payments of 51,000 South African Rand per month in interest alone, which I cannot afford. Even if I find any job, my salary won’t cover the interest payments. Banks continue to deny me loans and refinancing options because of a past lawsuit with a bank. Although I have repaid the debt through legal channels, my credit history remains tainted for ten years, I’ve been told. I am at a loss and don’t know what to do. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for considering my situation.
Please, if anyone can help, I urgently need R30,000 to repair my house. The walls are crumbling, and the stove is falling apart. The house is 54 years old, and I’m not sure how to go on without assistance. I’ve reached out for help but haven’t received any support. If you can help, I would be incredibly grateful and will keep you in my prayers for your kindness. God bless you!
Hello, I graduated from high school and am planning to attend college in a major city. During school, I was bullied by classmates and other kids due to my appearance. I didn’t have many people to hang out with, so I had no friends. Because of financial difficulties, I lived in an orphanage until I was 11 years old. After being taken into care, not much changed. I am now 17 and would really appreciate any help. My guardian is against me getting a job, and many of my belongings are over four years old.
“I’m writing for the first time and I want to share my life story. I was born with a cleft lip. I grew up like other children, but at the age of 7, I was sent to the city. I come from a rural area. My father drank heavily and wouldn’t let my mother accompany me. As the years went by, I didn’t grow like others did, and children mocked me, calling me a dwarf. It hurt a lot. By the time I was 16, my father had passed away. We visited a hospital because I hadn’t started menstruating by age 16. They said it might start at 18, depending on my body, but we went anyway. It turns out that alongside my growth issues and cleft lip, I also have delayed puberty. We’ve been visiting doctors for four years, and I still haven’t started menstruating. I’m 20 now, and the doctor hasn’t been able to help. They recommend that I seek help in Pretoria.
In my town, they say I need braces because I’m missing my front teeth. We’ve been trying for three years, but the process isn’t progressing because money is required upfront, which I don’t have. My mother is a technician, and I’m a student working part-time during holidays to save for surgeries, but it’s not enough. I also need surgery for my cleft lip, which costs 300,000 rand. I can’t get a loan, and saving that much money feels impossible.
I don’t believe in miracles, but I have faith in the kindness of people. I know there are good people out there! I’m 20 years old and 140 cm tall. I desperately want to feel beautiful, as people still laugh at me and tease me, saying I’ll never get married. These comments are deeply hurtful.
To anyone who has the patience to read my story and shows compassion, I assure you this is not a scam. If you have doubts, I can provide documents, medical records, and diagnoses from my birth in 2000 until today.”
My name is Elena, and I’m 49 years old. My ex-husband took me to court and claimed half of my share, leaving me with only 4.5 square meters, which aren’t even registered. He and our eldest child have taken over the entire flat, and I have nowhere to live. I can provide evidence of my situation. Currently, I am unemployed due to downsizing during the pandemic. Please help me purchase a place of my own.
Hello, please help me. After the severe pandemic, I have struggled to find a job. While I was sick and then spent six months recovering, debt collectors started garnishing my salary for unpaid loans. Now, they’re taking every cent I have. I don’t know how to make ends meet. I am asking for your kind assistance to help me lift the hold on my bank card. Card number 4276721174661389
The old house where I live with my husband and child won’t last another season. It’s beyond repair—everything has rotted and shriveled. We urgently need funds to build a new home. My husband is the sole breadwinner, and due to the pandemic, our income only covers the basic expenses. I am terrified of being trapped under the ruins of my own house!

Hello, my name is Olga, I am 35 years old. Due to my naivety, I fell victim to scammers who opened a credit card in my name and charged it with one hundred twenty-five thousand rand. Now, I am responsible for paying it off. My monthly salary is 12 thousand rand, and I have three young children to support. I’m at a loss for what to do or where to find the money. Please help me in any way you can.
Hello, I am a young mom, and a couple of months ago, I never imagined I would be asking for help. My little boy will soon be a year old. My ex-husband was abusive, and one day, I found the courage to take my child and leave. As a result, I am now left with debts that my ex took out in my name. I receive no support from him, and I am unable to work as I have no one to look after my young child. My relatives have all turned their backs on me because I left my husband; they believe I should have stayed to keep the family together. I am at a loss for how to move forward. I want to provide everything my child needs, like winter clothes, toys, nappies, and food.
I have been writing songs since school, with 8 years of experience. Now, at 21, I have mostly written songs as a hobby. Unfortunately, this year some of my songs were stolen; there was a wiretap on my phone. I’ve decided to forgive those responsible because I can always create more songs. Composing music is the one thing I know how to do well, and I am not interested in any other profession. Currently, I live in an apartment my father bought, but he does not support me financially. I survive on a limited diet, usually just rice or lentils. I’m seeking a sponsor to support my musical creativity. I am only able to work remotely due to a condition called IBS, which causes flatulence and makes it difficult for me to be around people without feeling embarrassed. Please help me.
Hello, my name is Sergey. I study, work, enjoy sports, and love reading a variety of articles and learning new things. Since childhood, I dreamed of becoming a football player because I played very well. Later, I aspired to be a programmer and then a well-known streamer and columnist, spreading positivity and lightening up everyday life. However, life has often taken me in different directions. Unfortunately, my laptop, which I had saved up for, broke down. Yet, I refuse to give up, even though times are tough. I hope to find some luck here. I wish to build a computer to pursue my passion and integrate it with productive work. I’m not going to write about my debts, as they are no longer the primary issue, just a difficult situation I can’t seem to escape.
